Flight Club wasn't created to collect information about people.

We believe privacy should be simple, transparent, and always under your control. We also believe you should understand how Flight Club works without needing to be a lawyer to read this policy.

- Marketplace listings.
- Messages.
- Photos and other media you choose to share.
You remain responsible for the content you choose to publish or share with other members.
Please remember that anything you intentionally post in public or community areas may be visible to other users based on the audience you selected when sharing that content.

We believe you should remain in control of your Flight Club experience.
You can update many aspects of your account at any time, including your profile information, account preferences, and privacy settings.
If you decide Flight Club is no longer right for you, you may request deletion of your account in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

SCHEDULE IMPORTS & AIRLINE INFORMATION
Flight Club offers features that allow you to import and organize your work schedule to make it easier to plan, manage, and use other Flight Club features.
When you choose to import your schedule, the information is associated with your account so features such as your calendar, pairing details, reminders, Crew Tools, and other schedule-based experiences can function as intended.
Importing your schedule is always optional.
You decide whether to import, update, or remove your schedule information from Flight Club.
Flight Club is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any airline, union, or scheduling system unless explicitly stated.
You are responsible for reviewing your official airline scheduling systems for final operational information, assignments, and updates.
DIRECT MESSAGES & COMMUNICATION
Flight Club allows members to communicate with one another through features such as direct messages, Crew Rooms, Marketplace conversations, and other communication tools.
Messages are intended to help members communicate, collaborate, and build stronger connections within the aviation community.
Please remember that the people you communicate with may save, forward, copy, or share information you voluntarily send to them.
We encourage members to use good judgment when sharing personal or sensitive information with others.
PHOTOS, VIDEOS & FILES
Many Flight Club features allow members to upload and share photos, videos, screenshots, documents, and other files.
Examples include:
- Profile photos
- Community posts
- Crew Room posts
- Marketplace listings
- Messages
- Schedule-related uploads
- Other supported content
You remain responsible for the content you choose to upload and share.
Please ensure you have the necessary rights or permission before uploading content to Flight Club.
MARKETPLACE
Flight Club Marketplace allows members to create listings, communicate with other members, and participate in community-driven buying, selling, housing, and other marketplace experiences.
Information you choose to include in a listing—including photos, descriptions, pricing, availability, and messages—may be visible to other members based on the type of listing you create.
Flight Club provides the platform for members to connect but is not a party to transactions between users unless explicitly stated for a specific feature.
Members are encouraged to communicate honestly and use good judgment when interacting with others.
NOTIFICATIONS
Flight Club may provide notifications to help keep you informed about activity that matters to you.
Examples include:
- Replies to your posts
- Reactions
- Messages
- Crew Room activity
- Marketplace activity
- Schedule reminders
- Crew Tool reminders
- Flight reminders
- Other account activity
You can manage many notification preferences within your account settings.
LOCATION SERVICES
Some Flight Club features may work better when location services are enabled.
Examples include:
- Commute planning
- Airport-based features
- Nearby recommendations
- Weather
- Housing features
- Other location-aware experiences
Location services are optional.
You can manage location permissions through your device settings and, where available, within Flight Club.
Choosing not to enable location services may limit certain features, but you can continue using the majority of Flight Club without providing your location.
PERMISSIONS
Depending on the features you choose to use, Flight Club may request permission to access certain device capabilities, including:
- Camera
- Photos
- Files
- Notifications
- Location
- Contacts (where applicable)
These permissions are only requested when necessary for a feature you choose to use.
You can change or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Flight Club uses trusted service providers to help operate the platform and deliver certain features.
Examples may include account authentication, cloud hosting, file storage, notifications, payment processing, mapping services, weather services, and other infrastructure that supports Flight Club.
As Flight Club grows, additional services may be introduced to improve functionality and reliability.
Whenever practical, we strive to work with providers that take privacy and security seriously.
DATA SECURITY
Protecting the Flight Club community is one of our highest priorities.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect your account and the information associated with it.
While no website, application, or internet transmission can ever be guaranteed to be completely secure, we continuously work to improve the security of Flight Club and encourage members to help protect their own accounts by using strong passwords, keeping their devices secure, and reporting any suspicious activity.
If we become aware of a security issue affecting your account or the Flight Club platform that requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users as appropriate.
DATA RETENTION
We retain information associated with your account only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide Flight Club, operate requested features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect the safety and integrity of our community.
Different types of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will take appropriate steps to remove, delete, anonymize, or otherwise manage it in accordance with our operational and legal obligations.
ACCOUNT DELETION
You may request deletion of your Flight Club account at any time.
When your account is deleted, your profile and information associated with your account will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Certain information may continue to exist where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, or maintain the integrity and safety of the Flight Club platform.
Community discussions, conversations, marketplace interactions, or other shared content may continue to exist after account deletion where appropriate to preserve the context of conversations or community content, similar to the way many online communities operate. Where applicable, identifying information associated with deleted accounts may be removed or anonymized.

We believe privacy should remain under your control whenever reasonably possible.
Depending on the features available within Flight Club, you may be able to:

- Change your display name.
- Update your profile photo.
- Manage notification preferences.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Flight Club is intended for adults working in or interested in the aviation industry and is not directed toward children under the age of 18.
If we become aware that an account has been created in violation of this policy, we may take appropriate action, including removing the account where permitted by applicable law.

Flight Club will continue to evolve as new tools, services, and features are introduced.
